Wellness Tools to Create a More Conscious Presence

Would you like to bring a more emotionally grounded energy into all that you do? Here are some simple strategies:
sun
Breathe: Many people get going so quickly through our day and forget to do something as basic as breathing. Something as simple as taking a few deep breathes can relax your body and clear your mind.

Smile: Smile at everyone that you see today and hold their gaze for a few moments to make a personal connection with them.

Notice the Small Things: Enjoy the feeling of the sun on your face, doing something you love or watching children play (children are wonderful teachers of how to be in the moment).

Spend Time With The Ones That you Love: Make time for your family and friends by planning fun things to do together.

Laugh More: Laughing releases endorphins and makes you feel good.

Take an Interest in Others: Find out about others's lives or give them an opportunity to be on the receiving end of someone who cares – it will make you feel just as good as it makes them feel.

Take Stock of Your Day: What percentage of the day are you doing something that you find enjoyable or are looking forward to? Aim for at least 55% and make any changes that you can to increase your enjoyable moments.

Take Stock of Your Life: Where do you feel blessed? Remind yourself of all the wonderful things in your world.

Create a Spiritual Practise: Do things simply because they feel good and allow you to experience your connection to a higher power … meditate, pray, commune with nature, laugh with friends … whatever feels good.

Break Your Day Down Into Moments and Seek to Have as Many Positive Moments as Possible: When you are looking for the positive, it tends to show up.

Surround Yourself With Loving and Positive Things: Spend time around friends, family and uplifting activities.

Be Inspired: Inspiration feeds your soul and uplifts your spirits. Find something that feels fun, joyful, uplifting or expansive for you and then spend time in that experience.

Get Creative: Creativity is a great way to tap into the moment, experience your authentic nature and feel good.

Take Yourself Out on a Date: Spend time with the person you spend your entire life with… you. Go to a movie, enjoy a great meal or wander around a museum. Enjoy your own company and discover the joy of being YOU.

Have Fun: Ask yourself regularly "what would feel good right now?" and then find more opportunities to do what you find fun or enjoyable.

Nurture Yourself: Get a massage or do something that leaves you feeling cared for.

Enjoy!
