What a Difference a Small Change can Make!

Checkout the Before & After pics of my dining room - what a different paint can make!

In the Before shot you can see the dark green wallpaper, pink paint and floral border that covered the walls. Not really my style, however, much of it was like that when I moved in many years ago and someone convinced me to leave it… and to even change other areas in my home to match it. And without really loving it, I actually kept it that way for many years!

Now with the help of some paint in this gorgeous deep blue color, the After picture shows my dining room completely transformed. The change even made the room seem bigger (even though it has all the same furniture) and I have to ask myself "why did I wait so long to change it?".

But that is often the way – sometimes we hold onto things that we don’t really like for so long and then when we do make a change, even a little one, the difference can be amazing.

That is especially true for personal growth. Sometimes all it takes is a small change to make a massive impact… like making a decision on something, extending forgiveness to someone (or ourselves), taking a step in a new direction that feels a bit scary, or challenging an internal limitation.

Doing something new can actually change the way you see everything, because it places you in vibrational resonance with the part of you that want to strive, grow and expand. Then because of that connection, ideas to transform other areas of your life can be freed up to come forward.

It’s also a great opportunity to challenge that pesky inner voice that brings doubts or worries as you are going through the process (just ask me how many paint samples I bought before trusting my ‘first choice’ and actually picking up a paint brush!). Just one step at a time is all that's required.

So… ready for a little magic? Try changing something and see what kind of transformation you can create in your life. The effort is worth it.
